Business Education

CTE

Business Education is a completer program that is part of Baltimore County Public School's CTE (Career and Technical Education) programs. The CTE mission is to provide expertise and vision to schools as they deliver integrated programs that prepare learners academically, technically, and interpersonally for careers and lifelong learning.

Owings Mills High School offers four (4) Business Education pathways:
 
-Business Management
-College & Career Research and Development
-IT Computer Science
-Teacher Academy of Maryland (TAM)

Internships - ALL Students may take the internship class

Students have an opportunity to apply their career-based classroom learning under the supervision of a mentor.  Students will observe, explore, and discover solutions to authentic problems in the workplace.  Students will maintain a reflective journal of their experience and develop a portfolio that includes an enrichment projected related to their career placement.
